Quote from: 'enworb' pid='7565' dateline='1359420426'Trout is right it looks cleaned prett harsh. The reverse has less wear than the obverse, perhaps VF overall. Even though its cleaned it would be nearing the $100 mark i reckon.

That's alright. I got the coin as part of a set/s in late 2008. I bought hp, p, tp, sp, s, f, hc sets on ebay for $190 including postage. This coin 'appears' to be the only/main one that has been cleaned (there may be the odd florin etc). Even so there all seem to be full sets, some with extras! (although no strapless penny)

Extra coins include;

1942 tp - One dot
1956 tp - Strapless NNS
1957 sp - Strapless
1942 s - Broken back

enworb

For $190 i would say you did extremely well!

Nevol

If there's a 1935 3d in there, you got a bargain.  Even so, $190.00 is reasonable for all 6 sets IMO.

CV's from my 2011 Catalogue for these:
1942 One dot 3d in Ave circ = NZ$15
1956 tp - Strapless NNS=NZ$8
1957 sp - Strapless=NZ$15
1942 s - Broken back= NZ$14

and
1935 3d = NZ$220

I have a 2012 Catalogue, but it's hiding from me at present. :whistle2:

1935 dated coins of all denominations have high catalgue values in high grades just none close to the 3d

Triggersmob

Might be a typo on the C.O.A.
The PNC's are dated 1968, but it says 1969.
Very nice coins though. Congrats on your purchase.
