This is totally my thing, I collect these so when I saw this medal I wanted it....apart from the price tag. Then I looked a bit closer at the images.......perhaps if I bought it I could display it one sided.

Although the design could be confronting to some that medallion is a beautifully executed piece, I like it.

I am with trout -lovely design, quite confronting but that is what, I am sure, it is meant to be.
Thinking is dangerous, it makes you think. That\'s why many people avoid it.

Maybe if Ian had used a female model for this there wouldn't have been the Dangly bits on the design
But then there wouldn't be such a strong message in the design.
On one side the pain and suffering is quite tangible as is the sense of elation and relief on the other side of the Medallion.
The detail in the design is exquisite and beautifully sculptured by Mr Rank Bradley and if it hits you as confronting then the artist has achieved his goal I would think.

It is an expensive piece and if I had the spare quids available I would buy this in a heartbeat :ok:
