Hi Everyone,

Thought I'd share a recent purchase - double struck 1955 Shilling. Not a huge collector of Aussie coins but couldn't pass this one up when I had the chance to buy it!

Haven't seen too many like it before so thought it would be a good one to share.

Super double strike there, that and another KGVI shilling were the two I could find online when I was looking around. Seems to be quite a scarce error! Would be great to see if anyone else has other examples.

Lovely PPH!

Could we venture enough to call the reverse a RAM strike?

(Oh dear, it is hump day after all).
