Dropped in yesterday for a quick look had a family BBQ to go to , lots and lots of lovely coins . Purple Penny stand looked fab some very nice error coins there , was great to meet our forum founders . Wasn't after any coins but did pick up some storage goodies , hope the rest of the weekend went well .
Can confirm no bikini's were spotted but it was certainly warm enough for them .

Show was well attended and the hall looked awesome with all the dealers present. We did OK, but the best part (as always) was getting to talk to real live people as opposed to doing everything online. Thanks to any members who popped in and said hello.

It was a great show. I spent more there than I did at the ANDA show in Sydney last month! And there were dealers there that I don't get to see as often as I'd like, such as the Purple Penny, Johnny Watson and Qi, Jerry, and Richard Welling.

Here are some pics Mark took at the show from our table. We had a good time apart from having an unfavourable position. We put a lot of effort into looking professional (ha ha) had signs made, wore our Purple Penny shirts and people did approach us for advice and to sell some stuff. Usually the more favourable positions get the best buying opportunities. The nicest item we saw was a 2c reverse brockage that someone brought in, sadly we didn't buy that. One dealer had a "misstruck off centre double date" 1962 sixpence he wanted $1800 for which was a lovely double struck coin but ouch the price. Charlie and the 4 kids came to the show and were all very well behaved. Overall it was a success even though we only sold one slabbed coin, it seems RAM decimal is the way to go with a lot of people putting together sets and seeking the coloured $2 coins.

That's a great looking venue, the room looks pretty "Quiet" though.
Were the images taken before the public were let in ?
I would have most probably pinched one of those puppy's, They really are cute

That was rainy Sunday afternoon so yes. Saturday was much busier and the weather was better on Saturday too, a sunny Adelaide day.

Problem is it doesn't necessarily do that. Rain is usually accompanied by an increase in ambient temperature at the point water vapour condenses into liquid water.

roads tend to look as if they are misting with short bursts of rain in the heat
over here in the ACT i will say that the rain does seem to cool things down more so than when i lived in Nth QLD
