WARNING.  The pictures of the die markers for the above are lifted directly from one of our auctions from a few months ago and are not of the coin in the auction.  The sellers coin may or may not have proof type 2 die markers but you can't tell from his pictures.  The seller will not remove the images in question despite being asked.  Buyer beware.

That seller pops up in a lot of searches I do for PCGS slabs on EBay. I was not particularly inclined towards them but I'm less so now.

Its a proof strike but its scratched to hell. Look at the vie polish line from the horses butt to tail. That's a marker, so is the rim and I think the wreath is as well but picture is a bit low res

I'm glad you did ..... I will try and work out what options I can report it under also. (Pretty poor effort on their behalf not removing your pics when requested!!!!).

I don't agree that it has any of the markers.

Well your wrong, I can clearly see the die polish line between the horses butt and tail, then the fact it has a wire rim at 9oclock on the horsey side and what appears to be a fully formed but flattened wreath. It is a worn and trashed example but I would gamble its a proof strike.
I didn't see the 3rd and 4th picture so I didn't understand the problem before but now i saw them I agree. Its highly inappropriate to use them images as they don't reflect the coin being sold and are someone else images.

Isn't the rim (fat reverse, beveled obverse) a marker for the proofs?

the PP inserted photos make that ad appear as it the die markers are off that coin
this is a very deceptive selling strategy as there is no notation of the source of the extra obviously more professional images
