In the pcgs thread AP suggested to look up pcgs coins on feebay so I did and got 2,212 listing so had a quick look and went WTF is this, sly bastard, it's about as much pcgs as I am :dodgy:
 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2014-2-GREEN-STRIPED-REMEMBRANCE-COIN-PCGS-MS65-GRADED-COIN-/252415343381?hash=item3ac5207b15:g:JoEAAOSwnNBXVUM6

This again is a really good reason why he shouldn't have been allowed to use the name, no I'm not riding on pcgs's coat tail, yeah right :dash1:

I believe PCGS have taken action in the past about this sort of thing.
An email about it with a link to the item might do some good.

Have you noticed in the slabs hologram the "PCGS" stands out and the "A" is barely visible ?
Is this just a freak thing or was it intentionally done ?, You be the judge.:dodgy:
The seller also describes the slab as a PCGS one and nowhere in the listing is it referred to as an APCGS slab.
I have reported this and I suggest that others do the same :good:

I emailed the seller regarding the Missing "A" in the listing and to his credit the listing has been amended :good:

PCGS is probably rich enough and established enough now to change their name, AND protect it in major territories. That would stop the bullshit dead in its tracks, since you can't just add an "A" to a coined name like you can to an acronym.

PCGS can look after themselves, they don't need anyone going in to bat for them. With 20,000 slabs about to hit the market the odd slab with an "A" on it will barely get noticed.

I am hoping that the majority of those 20,000 slabs will contain Bullion coins and not numis coins.
20,000 collectable coins hitting the market will do some serious damage to a market that is already struggling as it is :icon_cry:

What am I missing here :scratch_one-s_head: The first line in the description reads; For sale is one (1) APCGS MS65 graded 2014 $2 green striped Remembrance 20c coin. :scratch_one-s_head:

Yes Auto, it looks ok now, someone must have blasted them yesterday as they have edited it.

Previously there was no A in APCGS (neither in the title or the description), just straight PCGS.
