I hope the Girls beat him on the Day, and have a witty retort for him. On the podium would be great. He could have had a bit of a Dig at them, but in a funny way. A running joke is always good, this could have been the start of one. I also wonder what a Footballer would be fined for a similar comment. What do you think ?

At least the tone of the apology comes across as genuine,  rather than the "I'm sorry I got caught" type apologies that seem so common.

It was the sort of thing you might say to some Mates, not in front of the Public or Media. He is a bit of an Odd-ball, which isnt a bad thing. We need more that keep us guessing, like Gelignite Jack Murry once did. These days he would be locked up in a flash, but he did some outrageous things in his day.
