Amazing stuff! I can't begin to imagine how much time and effort (and skill) it took to put that together.

Loved one of the seaside scenes, you could easily have been sitting in a boat looking across the water at the white wash on the shoreline. That is excellent artistic talent

Good stuff Goldie, that's what you call committed, what a shame if he doesn't buy the place.

That's one magnificent piece of work Fulvio. An incredible amount of hours went into that, extremely inspiring.

So much so I drug out my partly completed model of the Werris Creek Loco Maintenance facility from 28 years ago. Full of dust and such, the cats have wrecked part of it, looks like an abandoned construction site which is what it is :dash1: Anyhow, you could say I'm inspired, so time to get at it :yahoo:

Haven't been doing much with coins lately, instead spending more time on the project, but still needs a roof, ventilator stacks, gutters and downpipes, corner strips, maybe some lighting and a general weathering. I think I'll only do half a roof though, phew!!...never ending, but fun!!

Thanks one and all, I can now see an itty bitty light in the distance. Kato SP locos welcome gabby, but they would need to wear their safety vests and be guided by a NSWGR Alco  :stop: Nothing to do with alcohol people  :tease: :)

Yes I know I'm late to the party, but might I suggest throwing them up on the net and providing a link here?

Imgur's probably the easiest way to do this. Here's one of my albums from our club's (Melbourne Numismatic Society) coin show a couple of years ago as an example: https://imgur.com/a/to5Fy

The post by uni in another thread motivated me to post what I've been doing with model railways of late.

This is a part finished conversion of a NSWGR J483 class Baldwin built 2-8-0 loco which was delivered in 1891, and is somewhat different to the USA prototype which operated in the same era. Quite a few changes were required, some obvious, some subtle. Still a bit to do though, and have hardly touched the tender as yet. The main changes were to make a longer cab, the removal of a sand dome from atop the boiler, the re-positioning of the regulator dome, and altered pipework albeit slightly over-sized.

This is the NSWGR protype

This is the original USA designed model as it came in the box
