This is from my $1 Rim Cud Spreadsheet. Sorry the columns don't quite line up, but hopefully you'll be able to follow them.  A number in brackets at the end of a line is how many of that coin I have, if no number in brackets, then the number is 1.  SC means Same Coin

If my sheet is free of errors, then I have 64 Coins, with 5 of them having 2 Cuds, 4 have both on the same side, 1 has 1 on each side. Clear as mud eh?

Just where all these coins are at present is a total mystery to me, but I may have given some away over the years.

Feel free to put me on your give away list. :good:

I had a bit of a hunt and did come up with some, but it's not the ones I was looking for.  I will have to add these to my list:

$1 2001 CoF Rev Rim Cud

$1 2001 IYoV Rev 2 x Rim Cuds

$1 2005 MoR Obv Rim Cud

$1 2005 WWII Obv Rim Cud

$1 2007 APEC Rev Rim Cud

$1 2008 Scout Obv Rim Cud

I also found 17 X $2 Rim Cud coins and I already have a list of 48 of them.

Gee now I'll have to sort all my coins to see if I have anything that's not on your list..and nice pic's as usual Nancy :winkextra:

I don't think this is a rim cud, as such. It looks more like an extension of metal forced out between the dies.

Speaking of which, what do we make of the many variations on that theme? Split rims, raised edges and the like? I'm torm between keeping them and throwing them back in the pond. :/

Oh, and about that double-sided rim cud... it it the one cud that extends through the coin, or two separate cuds in different locations?

And if its the one cud, what does the edge of the coin look like? Is there a bulge, making the coin not round?

I've been using Nevol's list from back some time ago for ages. (The list is embedded about 3/4's down the first post).

The only additional one that came to mind was the Scouts one that is covered by Nevol's extra post above. (Which from memory I think Kel initially posted about).

It's 2 separate cuds in different locations.

This is from my spreadsheet:
2001   CoF   Obv   11.30   12.00
2001   CoF   Rev   10.30   11.00

$2 coins also have some with 2 cuds on the same side.

ausjack

No I don't sorry Kel.
I don't think I can add any more, didn't really look at MOR's but know I have a 2005 and at a very rough search this is my list and probably have more knowing me.
1999 YoOP 10o'c revese
2001 YoVol around 9o'c x 8 rev
2001 YoVol double 7 and 9o'c x 2 rev
2001 CoF not quite 9o'c x2 rev
2001 CoF 5o'c obverse
2002 YoOut not quite 9o'c x 3 rev
Yes pretty sad compared to Nancy's :winkextra:

I have just sorted out all my $1 error coins for duplicates and found quite a few variations of size/position of rim cuds for some coins. So, here are five different 2001 Centenary of Federation cuds.
If you have any different to these a picture would be appreciated.
Jeff

Others to come later -takes some time to do a composite picture like this.

Without digging all mine out, this is a list I compiled in 2008.  I think I may have traded some of these, but can't remember for sure. The top 2 are on the same coin.

Looks like I should anticipate the possibility of finding a few more different ones. I have yet to come across a CoF obverse cud.

And three different 2001 Volunteers reverse rim cuds. I thought I had another similar, but slightly different, to the centre one (about the same as the lower cud on the twin cud one) -not sure what I did with it.

This is a list of the rest of my $1 Rim Cud coins. It should be pretty much up to date, last modified Sep 20, 2015 and I doubt that I've found any since then.
