Top job Pedro!!!

Did the 2014 Bubble also have the partial one next to the claw as well? (I thought your earlier one did .... but I could be wrong).

Great pics as usual!!! :good:

JeffH

Well done Pedro.
I don't know how everyone else can find bubbles and I have only found a couple. Maybe it is time to have my eyes tested again.

Good memory Uni but no, this one didn't have the bubble near the claw.

Jeff: Still working on the bubble project :winkextra:

Today is my first day of taking up noodling seriously since I stopped in December 2016.

I have $1,000 x $1's, $600 x 50c's, $400 x 20c's, that is correct, $2,000 in total for:

2000 COF Upset at 258 degrees:   (See below):

and 1 x 1993 COA $0.50c piece.

Not bad for a first day's return noodling and I still have the 20c pieces to examine.

Top job Goldie ..... Gee that rotated looks in great condition! :good:

Goldseeker

Yes is does look good for a coin that has been circulating for just over 17 years.

I was more surprised at the angle of rotation rather than anything else.

Completed the coins I got yesterday today and this was the only error coin amongst them all:

1974 $0.20c Obv Flaking Planchet:   (Scan of Obv and closeup of fault):

I went through some 50c pieces - got a CoF Victoria, 3 x 1970 and 3 x 1988.
Not much else.

JeffH

Pre-noodled coins?

More a case of noodling non finds today.
Just went through a stack of 50¢ coins and one bundle of five bags ($50) was exclusively normal Coat of Arms reverse. All up there was 7% of commemoratives in all the coins -normally would see more than 35% commemoratives. Did find two 2007 with good worn die doubling but too battered to be worth keeping.
So total haul zilch!

Normally I would never post about not so good noodling sessions but this one was exceptional.

Mister T

Too bad - I don't have that suspicion often but it's really off-putting when it does happen.
I suppose it's a like more likely with 50c pieces anyway.

Mister T

Well a little unexpected - I got a nice 1995 $20 note from the change machine. It wasn't uncirculated (it had a few creases) but I could still feel the intaglio.

JeffH

That's a new word to me -I love discovering new words. Had to look it up.

Intaglio is to printing as incused is to coinage; or thereabouts.

I noodled 1,500 x$1 coins today and this one turned up:

This is a first one for me for a long long time
