I just had a good look at this new 02 set and I think I may be able to upgrade my set registry set a bit with these :good:

Here is my registry set.

I have the results for my 1902 Matte Proof set and the 1903 set.
They did pretty well :good:
I will post the true view images when they become available :ok:

1902 Matte set
1d PR63 2/0
2d PR62 1/2
3d PR63 1/0
4d PR64 4/0

1903 set
1d PL67 6/0
2d PL67 10/1
3d PL67 2/0
4d PL66 8/0

Both of these sets are now the finest graded even if the matte proof set is there by default as it is the only one

My 1904 and 1908sets didn't fare so well :(
The toning on the 2d and 3d isn't that nice and probably accounts for the low grades .
The 1d is a corker and the 4d is rather nice.
1d PL67
2d PL62
3d PL63
4d PL65

The 1908 set really surprised me especially the 1d coin, I didn't notice any wear on it but it graded PL58 anyway.
I expected PL64-65 for all of these :dash1:
1d PL58
2d PL63
3d PL64
4d PL65

The 1937 3d coin Mark gave me came back a PL65 which is rather pleasing :good:

I just picked up a 1911 George V set that the seller assures me is Uncirculated and a 1908 1d in PCGS PL64 to replace the rather disappointing PL58 coin I have just had graded.

Here is the eBay listing for the 1911 set .

They should be here in a couple of weeks or so and I will take some pic's of them before I send them off to PCGS :ok:
I think I may have to get another of them nice 50 slab wooden boxes to accommodate  this slowly expanding set of coins

Here is the 1908 1d that was graded PL58 equivalent to AU58.
I can't see any wear on this and I am thinking of cracking it out and sending it back to PCGs so that they can have a fresh look at it.

This is the 1937 3d that Mark gave me, it has to be one of the best portraits of King George VI that I have :good:
