Hi first post, how is everyone.. I have searched :) Just a question on the red $2 poppy coin.
I have come across a couple of dozen and they have been stuck onto the RSL card with some of that sticky goo stuff, ( dry but holds coin on ). Should I be getting them into the saflip holders ? or bags. How would I clean if i need to ???
Thanks for reading :read:

If the coin is already ijn it's own packaging, then I would leave it in that packaging.

However, If you feel that you just want the coin the remove the coin and store where you want to store it.

That sticky stuff on those coins needs to be removed.
Also off the card if they were stuck to it.

Using double ended cotton buds and acetone
dip bud in acetone and clear the coins surface,
as little as possible acetone. Single use only of each bud.
Don't let the acetone any where near the coloured side

Repeat process with water and pat dry.

Put them in your saflips.(I prefer them in acrylic capsules).

That joint Kiwi 50c looks great but as I don't collect Kiwi coins I will not be adding it to my collection.
