Not to mention an impulse purchase of an upmarket vehicle.

Getting within a "Bees dick" of Death changes your prospective on life, It's only money.
Might as well spend some on what I really want instead of  waiting and hoping then  hoarding it, because you really NEVER know what is around the next corner is what I am thinking now :ok:
In all reality I should not be here now, so I am enjoying getting the coins that I have put off for far too long at the moment so Bugger it let the good times roll :)

In a way that is exactly where you are now. Different work but a very important end -your fitness.
Stick with it and it will be worthwhile. I went through something similar years ago; plaster removed after three months and it took the best part of two years to regain (very nearly) full use of my arm and wrist. Piano practice, interestingly, was a major component of my physiotherapy.

Just got back from Perth after seeing the ostio mob and the phsyio mob.
Good news on the hand ,it is coming along nicely and all the pain and exercises are paying off :yahoo:

the arm however still has one fracture that hasn't healed yet and is totally relying on the metal splint they screwed to my bone to stay together.
I was wondering why it hurt my arm more than my hand to try and pick up a bucket with a little bit of water in it.
I am so glad I didn't preserver with that idea because the bone bloke recons anything over the weight of a can of coke has a real chance of buggering up the splint and snapping my arm again.
I had 5 fractures so four out of five isn't too  bad so far.
I am told another 6 weeks and maybe all will be good :yahoo:

Thanks guys :)
I look at my arm/hand now and compare it to what it looked like whilst I was waiting for the ambulance in extreme pain and thinking that I will loose this mangled mass of flesh and realize that the crew from the ambulance, the people that helped me at the crash site and the crew at RPH have done a bloody amazing job .
It is humbling to think of the amount of time and effort absolute strangers have put in just to save one arm .
It would be outright rude and ignorant if I didn't put the same if not more effort into the same goal :ok:
