2009 $1 Citizenship - Planchet Flaw or Strike Through?

I'm thinking this planchet had a void hence it's failure to be fully struck out ....... Lip'o'suction perhaps?

I'd be a bit inclined to say struck thru something or it could be PMD, as the bottom lip / chin sort of looks like it's got metal folded over it that might have peeled down from the top lip.

Thanks Nevol, I'll try and get some better pics with my cud'o'scope ..... I must have take 100 pics with the camera to get those and they still aren't great shots.

Geez, that wasn't much better than the photos, but here's a cudoscope comparison to a normal one.

I'll try and get some pics using natural light tomorrow. Shiny coins always seem to give me grief.

A couple of daylight happy snaps, 80 pictures later.

I'm leaning towards a strike through oil/grease now, but regardless it certainly has wiped the smile off Lizzie's face. :laugh2:
