oh golly :yahoo:
my birthday is coming up - maybe I should wait to open the parcel?

I still can't believe that I won it
never win things you know

my lotto ticket today was a fail  .....

ps spotted the two 100 Years of Anzac coins -  my father was in PNG in the second world war and I used to swim in the Long Tan pool either every day or every second day when I lived in Townsville - funny how you make connections with coins

far out - there is a beaut 1964 penny smack in the middle - wow!!

thanks heaps everyone

robbiegal

much excitement in the house today
my parcel arrived safe and sound - and the stamps aren't checked - bonus

thank-you so much to everyone
gee and there are TWO 1964 pennies (yippie)

Ok a quick mention on some items:

thank-you Auto for the 1922 write up as well - my hubby is a keen collector of these and has already given them the once over
the son has quickly eye balled the world coins and was very excited about many of these coins - bit of a historian and telling me about the state of the social and economic conditions etc of the various countries

the 50c are fabulous
the proof 1969 and 1972 coins are very very lovely with the 1972 twenty cents being an absolute knock out - beautiful blue cupro tones
the German & American notes are tops
the Zimbabwe inflation note is great
the change over folder with the new coins is fantastic - I haven't even seen the new 5c and 10c in circulation - I didn't expect the folder to have coins in it (fanks!!)

all of the folder $1 coins are also very cool
and the series of the Anzac $2 is really nice (there is even a purple $2 coin as well)
and to top if off there is a USA 2015 One ounce Silver coin

so I feel very spoilt and once again thank-you all
it was interesting watching the read up as things progressed towards draw and then to finally join in and win is a real blast

I feel as if I have been to an auction, grabbed a lot 'sight unseen' and then come home to play
it is always great fun to pull out the catalogues and start looking up coins (which we have started with i.e. 1997s proof dime etc)

thanks again - really brightened up our day as we are both home sick

Triggersmob

Robbiegal, sorry to hear you are sick.
Even through cyber space I can see the smile on your face.
We might have to do this again for the 1000th member. :)
