Here in Brissie it's been raining all day and most of last night.

I hope that the Bureaucrats don't wait until the last minute to let some water out of the dams like they did in 2011, and then try and blame it on someone else.

Hopefully there's someone with common sense in charge now.

Yeah but hotter temperatures/global warming means that southern
Qld is sucking up a lot of the heavy weather that North Qld gets
every year.We regularly get 300mm+ of rain in any given 24hr period

Goldseeker · February 20, 2015, 07:25:45 PM

keep safe up there.

trout · February 20, 2015, 08:19:20 PM

A little rain but not much so far, from 8.30 yesterday morn to 10 last night had a huge 30mm here

but we'll take what we can get but should get a little more over the next few days :good:

purplepennyhunter · February 21, 2015, 08:14:00 AM

Send some rain over to Adelaide, we're cooking over here. I hope everyone pulled up ok through the storms.

ausjack · February 21, 2015, 10:06:26 AM

Don't think the rain has quite finished yet and if I could I would PP.

Goldseeker · February 21, 2015, 02:26:52 PM

Maybe that stupid pipeline that Jeff Kennett wanted to pipe excess water from Qld to Vic wasn't such a bad idea after all.

But the cost, phew!

robbiegal · February 21, 2015, 02:36:41 PM

I reckon it is great idea and should have been built about 80 years ago
