I have been given a case of coins to sell on behalf of a widow whose husband passed away suddenly last year whilst on a gold prospecting trip.

Going through the coins, I found these two sixpences.

I am wondering how would I describe the above coins?

Would they be best described as "Broad Strike" errors or what?

Fordprefect

Partial collar, off centre Ram Strike with lip.

Very collectable at the moment, though a lot
of the "Buy Now" listings are way over the top price wise.

To me they are both a $25 coin.
To the ebay crowd, I have seen them reach the $60 mark each.

They look a bit pancakey, is there any milling (collar engagement) present? If not they are out-of collar/no collar verging on broadstrike. I wouldn't consider calling them off-centre until there is design missing of which there is not.

Thanks for your questions and here are the answers:

QE11 Sixpence has no reeding what so ever.   Above the word "sixpence" there appears to be a very shallow curving lip.
Obverse there appears to be some reeding marks above queens head but otherwise flat and clear of detail in the crescent flat piece.

The QE11 coin has already been sold.

The 1948 Sixpence has no reeding what so ever and the reverse and obverse crescent moon areas are all free of any distinctive markings.

This coin is under offer at present.

Thanks you all for all your input.
