So, while checking something else out, I stuck in http://www.reddit.com/domain/australian-coins.net/ just for LOLs..

Imagine my surprise when there was a hit. And checking out the poster produced this:

Great answer.
There's two sources of traffic we get to our site that are not mentioned here. First, we have a collectables store and over several years we've built a blog on a separate site that talks about the hobby generally, keeps people up to date with news and so on. It's not branded as us, not overly commercial and, has, over time become the authority site in Australia on the hobby in question. We get stacks of traffic from it using simple banner ads and in article ads

Secondly, we've built a forum based community of people in the same hobby. There's a stable population of several hundred posters who have become repeat customers. Again, it's not overly commercial and just a great way of people with like minds of getting together and talking about the hobby they love.

None other than our very own fearless leader! Makes me wonder just how many more of you are lurking over there on Reddit. ;)

Now to go back and tip Mark a few doge, just for giggles. ;)

Yes, I am on Reddit.  There's a coin subreddit there that I post to sometimes, as well as some other business and startup subreddits.  In fact, I did the banner for the coin sub.  You can see it here:

That is one wicked looking header, mate. One of the best I've seen. How come you're not a mod there though?

And did the doge come through OK? Wasn't sure if the tipbot had access to that sub.

I haven't been a member of reddit too long, and my activity on it is sporadic at best.  I wouldn't make me a mod if I was in charge of it!

I did a number of banners for them and they were planning on rotating them but do not seem to have done it.

Funny how common that is. I suspect enthusiasm comes in waves, and ebbs quickly. I know I've had no end of trouble trying to drum up any action on /r/ShibeNet and /r/V8Superdoge.

That tells me this is your first tip. Either check your messages and click the +accept in the notice it sent you, or go to https://dogetipbot.com/ and link your account(s). There are also links in the sidebar or /r/dogetipbot if that's easier.

Which reminds me, there's a cute Chrome extension that helps you find that kind of stuff, called LinkSlap.

There's a link to it on my website, http://fulvio55.altervista.org/ along with a bunch of other stuff. They pay for descriptions, in Dogecoin of course... for which you'd need a wallet to withdraw to. CoinSpot (also on my page) will provide that, and a market to sell coins in. Or just use the Reddit tipbot as above. ;)

Pretty easy money for jam, IMO. Some fool just posted about a thousand spam descriptions, at it only took a second or so each to report them, for about five grand total. Hopefully they'll claw back what they credited him too. ;)
