Now this one is different as it's normally a cud but this has a dot, and still working the new scope out and playing with lighting sorry :)

Nice one AJ! Haven't noticed any like that before.

It sort of resembles a bubble. :winkextra:

Thanks Pedro, no me neither mate so even though it's small it's a keeper :winkextra:

:laugh2: that it does Nevol, another one getting cocky with me so have we all had some happy pills today :mocking:

Do you like my idea of me posting my finds in years like this so it's easier for you to take them and don't have to look all over the place, any thoughts are welcome :)

and it's easier for me to just type 2010 error in search when I find something new or different :winkextra:

Does have some merit AJ - finding stuff in the "Noodling" thread is becoming more difficult given it's size now (even if you use the search you have to remember what year a variety may have been or what the error was!).

AJ - it is silly season so what can you expect

Bubble, bubble, bubble!!!!

Go AJ!

Is it the COA or Australia Day?

Fulvio

Here's a new one I just found on the 2010 Australia Day 50ยข. Fairly significant, as I've never seen any errors on this coin other than some minor doubling.

I've called this a cud, but given the shape and flatness, I think its more likely a dropped tool took a piece out of the die.

Anybody else got one?

Pedro

Nup. Haven't seen anything like that Fulvio - with all the squiggles on that thing I don't think I would have noticed it anyway.

The only error I have found on the 2010 Aust Day 50c is this one:

Pedro

I've got one in the "ribbons" somewhere. I always check them but can never remember where abouts it was. I'll try and find it later.

Pedro, nice one, I think I might have a "Lizzie Finnigan" somewhere too. Geez I need to have a good sort out.

That's a nice little goatee she's got there. :)

Pedro's goatee is another I haven't seen before.  :cray: All I've got for the Aust Day 50c is the line down HM's cheek.

I don't noodle much these days, got way too many error coins as it is, trying not to accumulate any more.
