So, for those who buy from a news-agent, anyone seen the August issue yet?

Got mine on Tuesday. Ended up buying a coin listed in CAB from Klaus Ford to upgrade my type set (1936 sixpence in gem). For those into 1922 pennies Fred Lever has a nice article.

Mister T

Thanks - been waiting all week but it arrived today.

Yep...mine is OK as well, but I think it will be my last as it's slowly becoming irrelevant to my collecting habits, due somewhat in part to a revitalised involvement in model railways. It's a quality mag, unfortunately for me I'm only interested in Australian coins from any era, and have no connection to notes, foreign coins or notes, nor ancients, which usually make up 90 percent of the content.
As we age we lose three things, one is our memory and arrrrr I've forgotten the other two!

Mister T

Thanks for the responses - mine's half way to falling apart and so were the ones I looked at at a newsagent across town.

Hi AC.
If you look at my very first post of this thread you will see that I'm saying exactly the same thing.
I must say I would love the mag to be more focused on Australian coins I mean it is called the Australasian Coin & Banknote magazine Incorporating Australian Coin Review.
It's a quality mag but just not of interest to me any more.
I pick up the odd one to see if it's changed only to be disappointed
