Did you try the library? They usually have a subscription for magazines and would get them first.

I am a subscriber and a contributor have not received the end of year issue.
I do not believe or expect that it will be printed.
I note the CAB website is down for maintenance 'to return shortly'.
We will have to wait and be advised whenever that happens.
Fred.

Not sure how much truth there is in this but I've just gotten an email from Imperial saying they have acquired CAB magazine.

Unfortunately it is a picture and it won't let me copy the text and I currently don't have the time to type it all up.
It is supposed to relaunch in March.

see attached ... or not. No idea why it is so ridiculously hard to add a picture here.It tells me I have the space, it just won't add the attachment.

There was more, but I was able to copy this off the email they sent.

How did you manage to put up the pics Auto cause the forum wouldn't let me?
I tried attaching it, I tried copying the picture and pasting it in. No joy.

You could just SAVE the images and print out from that.
Bit rough but readable.
So now we have a statement of intent.
I wish Scott all the best wishes for success in a tough market!

Hi gweidion, had to think about this, that's what happens when flying by the seat of one's pants.

Ok, right click on the email page and copy image, then paste to a word document.

Right click on the word document then click on save as picture. This will give you the option of saving a JPEG file to your computer.

Then upload the file to the forum gallery, and then to the relevant post as you normally would for any other.

I did find when trying to copy the original email page the whole document was not covered so had to do it in increments.

Hope this helps.

Glad the magazine has been saved.  I hope the print version continues alongside the digital as I prefer hard copies over anything that can be erased with a keystroke (or a glitch like happened to MySpace). Plus a physical copy can't be subject to new fees (like photobucket).

Thanks Auto, I actually saved the image as a jpg but couldn't get the forum to accept it as an attachment. Not sure why.

Mister T

Thanks for the updates - so no December/January issue then?

And did the website ever have anything on it? I remember the URL being published a few years ago but I didn't think anything came of it.

Mister T

Anyone heard any more about this? New one can't be too far away now.
