John Fraser replaced Martin Parkinson at Treasury secretary Martin Parkinson as the government's top economic bureaucrat.

Which I guess means the next lot of printed Banknotes will have a new signature on our Banknotes, being.
Glen Stevens, as Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia, &
John Fraser, as Secretary to the treasury.

So now that Glen Stevens is stepping down as Governor of the Reserve Bank & a Dr Philip Lowe is set to replace him.
Our banknotes in the future will have the signatures
The new $5.00 note will have
Glen R Stevens / John G Fraser
that combination could just be for the new $5.00
To be followed by,
Phillip Lowe / John G Fraser
For the next generation notes when issued.

Good pick up interest. I was only noodling $5 and $10 today looking at earlier signatures.
