Who has bought or are going to buy the ABC coin series is the question

$351 set I am thinking of but for the same cost I can buy 10 sets PNC 2013 Bush Babies.

As I think about it, next Feb could be a good time to pick up a set. I do not think the ABC sets are going to sell out in a hurry.

I initially wasn't going to have a bar of these, then I saw some of the designs.:angel:
IF the quality of these is as good as the previous pad printed 25mm coins I will be quite happy to add them to that set :ok:

Quality from the RAM is a real issue for me.

Nice to hear that their frosted finish is of a high quality.

It would be good to if someone could post about the finish on these coins.

2014 would have to be the year that the mint produced the highest number of different 25mm $1 coins WITHOUT counting the 26 ABC coins.
I think the sheer number of different coins, mintmarks and counter stamps produced  has made it bloody near impossible for the average collector to keep pace.
I feel the 26 ABC coins are the straw that broke the Camels back for Manny collectors.
I have ordered the ABC coins but only in the hope that RAM Tones it down next year and keeps the number of different coins down to a respectable/collectable level.
I haven't received my ABC coins yet even though I paid for them a couple of weeks ago, So I can't comment on their quality yet.

Gave the pad printed coins the flick at the finish of the Air Series. Having said that, I'm always keen about anything that may be scarcer in years to come. Could be that a small number of the ABC coins will become scarce, but I certainly will not be collecting the full set, just 5 or 6 at the most.

I'm thinking Q,U,X,Y,Z and maybe V and W. If it becomes popular to collect name initials, I reckon these may be less sort after than the others.
