Yet another FDC converter seller on greedBay in PNC section
Private Issue :dodgy:

I wish novice buyers aren't tricked into thinking these cheap coins in cheap FDCs are real PNCs

A real pnc....just not an official issue. As soon as you attach a coin to a FDC by definition it is then a pnc. The issue is then whether it is an issue from Australia post or not.

Home made PNCs in my book are not PNCs official Australia Post or not :dodgy:

Official PNC's are numbered as Issue xx of xxxx.   Well in most cases they are.

I will not buy/support home made PNC's at all.

I concur ... when I see these listed for sale it simply reinforces my belief these are produced with cheap coins in a cheap FDC for benefit of seller to take advantage of novice buyer

The listing says it's a private issue PNC. I don't see a problem with the listing.

I think, Peter, we are all aware of your issues with non AP PNC's and thanks anyway, so much, for sharing with them with us yet again.  But I'd like to point out that the seller says it is a private PNC.  And regardless, why do you think AP makes PNC's?  For the greater good of humanity?  No, to make money, just like that eBay seller.  Try opening the other eye.

This discussion is pointless.  Thread locked.
