sent you a pm Nevol as I just got a call from a mint guy who helped me

Nevol

OK.  Just had a call from Lachlan at RAM.  It's all fixed and the coin is now ordered. My password had to be reset, then I logged on, went in and changed the password straight away to something that I'm familiar with.

Have already received a confirmation of the order from RAM. Phew.

If anyone wins the ballot and does not wish to purchase the coin I am happy to pay for you to buy the coin and post it up to me as it appears I have missed out at this point in time.

RAM website states it might take a few days to notify all successful applicants

Quote from: 'trout' pid='51323' dateline='1401946926'I didn't put my hand up for the ballot coin But this arrived today.
For "Grannybait" it is a really good design and I will be sending this off to be graded when I send my next batch in :good:

Whats that on Queenies nose & cheek Trout ? , i hope it's just a blemish in the scan & not actually on the coin.

good Nevol
Lachlan said that he was working on overtime, so he didn't mind the evening calls!!

I am sure those sort of work conditions will change if they privatise the mint - they will probably even start charging for gallery visits

desperate times for many people, looking to make a dollar at every turn, and if ppl want to pay the premium let them, I am still laughing at the ppl who paid $250 for a bag of 20 2014 $1 Anzac coins, which are now selling for about $30 a bag.

I think that most people that "Won" this item/coin did it for financial and not collector reasons.
It is after all just a "Grannybait" coin that will loose  its appeal after the initial rush has ended.
