Some people don't like aluminium coins, as it feels more like play money. Personally, I don't mind them and I think they can photograph quite well too.
So bring out your aluminium coins and show me some pics.
I'll post a few to get started.

10 Laari from Maldives

5 Centai from Lithuania

10 Filler from Hungary

1 Franc from French Polynesia

5 Centavos from Cuba

50 Centavos from Cape Verde

1 Shilling from Biafra

1 Cent from Belize

Those are nice coins trigger. I'm so used to seeing aluminium coins as dull and lifeless, not like yours.
I don;t own any aluminium coins but I once found a WWI aluminium internment camps 3d in a bulk lot of world coins. Unfortunately it was at work so i didn't get to keep it.

Your wish is my command.  I like these because they are the same sized coin but the 1923 coin is 170x the value.  A great bit of history showing the effects of hyperinflation in the Weimar Republic.

FordPrefect, here's the 2 francs.
Sorry I only have a pic of one side,
so you will have to take my word
for it, that this is a 2f.
Not one of my best pics though.

Mark, I love the old German coins.
The eagle just jumps off the page.
