I sent out a lot of emails yesterday to those I knew from the old forums and  around the coin circle, thanks to Nancy for helping me there.
From that we've had an excellent sign-up rate and I hope that continues over the weeks to come. And people are posting which is great!!!

Yass hasn't joined up yet.....?????

I also intend to email Wayne as he's very hesitant over the losses of the past, all the information that's now gone.

I'm sure we all feel the same as Wayne, anyone who has posted a lot of info on the forums that are now gone, will feel the same.
Disillusioned to say the least. :(

I'm extremely happy to have access to this forum, as I am very confidant that it will be a "stayer". :D ;)

I agree.

And the book updates for Greg would have been wiped also - although I think he would have copied them by now.

I hope Wayne does come here - he knows so much.

Did you have email addresses for these users: jislizard and caivel

I have their email addresses and can contact them if you don't.

It seems general users could view this hidden moderator forum when they "view new posts" or "view today's posts". We think this has now been fixed.

FYI In the board statistics at the bottom of the home page who's online list, those with an * next to their name are members that are choosing to stay hidden from being seen. We can see them because we are moderators.

Not me; I can't see invisible people. My board stats box currently looks like this:

I activated a new member a few days ago Littlefish.

Here's the pm I received from Trout.
"Hi Kathryn,
Little fish is a mate of mine, You may know him as "AusJack" on a different site.
I asked him to enrol on this site.
I know he can be a bit rough around the edges but has a big heart and loves his coins.
He also has had some major brain surgery and can be sometimes irrational.
At least he has a valid excuse (Unlike Me).
If you don't want him on the site then that is your right and I will honour your decision.
He is a funny bugger and is well worth the effort of letting him join in here with us other misfits
Best regards"

Just letting you guys know there may be occasion we need to moderate his posts if he gets out of hand.

Someone also mentioned on the Ozrt forum I think that they didn't like this place as it was a bit fishy. :(

Someone I haven't heard from in years just signed up. Cruzi from cruzi coins once known as Shrek has hopped on board, I've activated them tonight.
