Hadn't looked that closely at the coin motifs until you mentioned it. It's a stylised I with a border around it that makes it look like an "O".

Yeah Pedro, at first that's what I thought until I noticed the tentacles running through the center of the O.

It's the first coronation I've caught from the pond and in pretty good nick for its age. Maybe someday I'll nut out how to post pics.  :grin:

Just when I was about to give up on scoring any more coloured coins in circulation...... bingo my luck changed and tonight I had a great collecting run at Woolies.
I caught 7 x 2019 $2 "100 years of Repatriation" loose coins and an unopened bag of 25 x $2 2019 "100 years of Repatriation" (not a RAM bag though) and 1 x 2020 Australian Olympic Team "Dedication "coin. Then to another Woolies on the way home and scored a shiny 1 x 2019 "MoR" and 4 x 2020 "Donation Dollars". Not a bad nights shopping and collecting at all.  :yahoo:

I have noticed it is getting harder to collect coloured $2 coins from circulation. It's still worth doing even though the results are diminishing as time goes by.
Yesterday I scored 2 x GACH #3 coins. 1 x 2022 $1 "D for Darrell Lee"; 1 x $1 2022 "I for Irukandji Jellyfish" and 4 coloured $2 coins, 1 x 2018 "21st Commonwealth Games"; 1 x 2020 "Australian Olympic Team" "Courage"; 1 x 2019 "Police Remembrance"(yeah) and 1 x 2019 "Mr Squiggle" coin.

Has anybody else found results are decreasing? :huh:

Speculators are mostly hoarding and releasing them in bags or rolls or individually on eBag at inflated prices. Probably why we aren't seeing the bees even though there should be heaps of them.

Went shopping this morning and scored 1 x $2 2020 "Australian Olympic Team Dedication"; 3 x $1 2022 GACH #3 "Z for Zebra Finch;3 x $1 2020 "Mob of Roos"; 1 x $1 2022 GACH #3 "G for Great Ocean Road"; 1 x GACH #3 "V for Vanilla Slice" and a GACH #3 "M for Magpie"; 1 x $1 2019 GACH #2 "K for Kangaroo"; 1 x $1 2022 "Mob of Roos"; 1 x 2022 "K for Kelpie" coin. Not a bad days collecting.  :yahoo:
