Record a Coin Find

Find Map

Let's make use of the tool Markn built to track new coin finds. We seem to have ironed out all the bugs so it's time to get serious with it to track new 2014 coins as they are found and other coins as we add them. Contact myself or Markn if there are any problems or you think something should be added.

(p.s. when Mark gets back I'll have him remove the phoney entries)

Record a find can't determine my location but, never mind, I then selected it on the map and entered my last find.
Shows up on the finds map, correct location but says
"Coin: 2010 50 Cent - Upset
Found By: JeffH
Found On: 07/09/2015"
However Date entered was 17/02/2014

Did something like that before. Predictive feature; I have a long wait to find another!

Looks like there was a problem with single digit days and months.  Go javascript.  It appears to be working OK now.

Can you please have a fiddle and let me know if there's any problems.

I've updated your find to the correct date.  You can try to record another one now if you like.

Looking good now.
One of my previous finds had disappeared but I went and entered it just now and it showed up correctly.
I think MarkN ended up with that coin. The sneaky bugger probably deleted it so he could claim the find! -just kidding.
