OK "Renniks Pre-decimal varieties" tells me that there is a double dot under the emu variety on the common "No serif on the figure 2" variety.

I'm pretty confident I can see one dot (arrowed) but can't see a second dot but as you can tell it has had a good clean at some time.

Would anyone know where the second dot (if any) is supposed to be on this coin?

TIA

Hi Steve, sorry these are file pics (I've sold both), but this might help. (Robster will have some I'm sure).

No sure but it may be here .... though the one you point out is hard to see on this pic .....

Here is another one possibly showing yours and the one above.

Thanks Uni.  Looks like there are a few possibilities.  I do have a smaller second dot straight out from the first and half way to the rim but can't bring it up in the photo.  Also can't see a second dot in the same position as yours but I see you do also have another dot at the right end of the scroll up at about 45 degrees and half way to the rim.

The variety is only "scarce" rather than "very scarce" so I suppose it doesn't make a great deal of difference.

I have a total of 14 1926 no serif errors/varieties.! Only one shows a dot similar to Steve's but no 'two dot' version.! I do however have some that do not appear in Renniks.!!
I have two 'dot after sixpence' but both of mine also have a tear shaped cud between the top two points of the star.!
What I first thought was a damaged coin piqued my interest when I discovered an identical second coin.!!  I see a valley between the S and E of sixpence that runs through to the roos' back, perhaps an uneven die.!!
Will post up some pics through the week.!!

Two 1926 sixpences displaying almost identical flaws.
Each has a small crack at 9 o'clock.
Each has a 'valley' or 'rift' between S and I of Sixpence and the Roo's back.!!
Top coin shows small 'bridge' connecting S and I of Sixpence.!
All flaws are not mentioned in "Renniks".

Two 1926 Sixpence with 'dot after' E in "SIXPENCE" as per Renniks. These also display a 'tear drop' cud between the points of the star at 10 o'clock.!
Pics. edited to highlight 'cuds'.
