I am pretty sure that this has been discussed before either here or on CCF.
The 3 dots are a badly formed ear, there are NO ear, 2 or 3 dot ears and fully formed ears on the Rams head shilling as far as I can remember :ok:

Thanks for your comments one and all.   Yes, the coins in the plastic bags are all 1966 x 50c pieces.   The three rough ingots surrounding the Kilo slab is the result of mutilated pre decimal silver coins that I found whilst metal detecting.   They weigh in at just under 400 grams.   The purity of which is yet to be determined as I mixed pre and post 1946 silver coins and melted them with a blow torch.

The above photo does not include the pre and post pre decimal silver that I can't use or I have considered them to be only bullion value.   I shall photo those and post the them later.

If anyone who is reading this requires pre decimal silver coins for gap fillers in ones collection, please forward me your want list via a PM.   All denominations will be catered for if I have them in my "bullion bin".   There is something like 3,200 coins in these bins.

My silver stash may be increased quite considerably shortly.   If it comes off, I shall report it here in a few days.   (I don't think so now as I have just been informed that I have been the successful bidder on a house.   All my spare cash will be used for this purpose so no more bulk buying 1966 x 50c pieces).
