Yeah I have to get some of that polish Mark was talking about as it sounds like it does a good job.

Thank you RG, so I was wrong but are you sure you didn't mean to put PR and not MS 'cause other wise I was pretty close with my first guess :) I'm very slowly getting better at this grading thing but gee it's taking me forever to get it to sink in. Ya wanna have a little guess what mine is and yes it is PR :)

Either way yours is still a really beautiful coin and I think I could quite easy find a home for it ;)

all very nice mate but gee that shilling has my by the you know what's :winkextra: But then things like the maudy's (that I really like and more so every time I see one) are amazing that they still look so good and to think it was such a long time after that coin was made that they come here and the condition is brilliant for it's age, very very nice :good:

Next show that we are at I'll have to pick your brain as I quite liked a few of the sets in brissie but don't know enough yet but can really appreciate the beauty, thank for sharing mate :)

So as I gave my kidney away for some proof what do you want..I have a heart that doesn't get used much so should be in ok nick but you might want to be quick as it's not gonna last forever :laugh2:

Oh and nice die cracks on the groat :ok:

Oh just noticed the die cracks on the shilling :yahoo:

Hey AJ you're turning into a bit of a pro with this grading business mate
It\'s not about who you know it\'s about what you know

Thanks Stevo, but nah mate a very long way to go as the silvers seem just a little easier for now so trying so hard to work these bloody coppers as they are a bit tricky but I will get there and if I can I might be able to try and make some sort of a go out of coins, well it would be nice but I won't hold my breath :)

Quote from: 'ausjack' pid='50722' dateline='1401458725'yummy thank you very much and yes they are hard to capture a good image that does them justice. Ya know I won't be able to wait until next Saturday to post pic's of my new babies when they turn up...I'm getting excited :)

Now hard to tell if the yanks like the little bit of toning on the day pr64 but if they didn't like the toning 63, I'll break out my one and only baby, for the time being :winkextra:

it is a 1956 florin PCGS PR64 Australia - the Pr is the proof designation

hey steve
I resized your pics to 500
I have a very large computer screen but I can't see the whole coin as the photo was far too big - even for a 20 inch screen

ausjack

Quote from: 'robbiegal' pid='50743' dateline='1401492842'I think mine is just a MS64 , AJ
A tiny little bit of car polish on a cloth gets those slabb scratches off too
check out the PP blog site for details on the how to

Sorry RG I was just going off this post where your referred to it as MS or are you talking about another coins sorry and thanks for adjusting Stevo's pic

Oh and there can be a big difference with one grade and especially the coins I'm getting into, gonna play with the big boys may as well try and do it right :)
