Royal Thai Mint

hey so I am back from my trip to Thailand

yeah the mint didn't have coins like we do in Australia and they don't have quality control with the coins that they sell... I was not overly impressed, I asked to go thru there whole stock to find two sets that didn't have fingerprint or marks on them. "I bought the coin set that has the current circulation coins in it - so it has 2013, 2012 and a 2010 in it, I asked why it wasn't all 2013 coins, and it was something along the lines if they don't change the coin design or if the dies don't fail they keep using the same one." they don't make mint or proof year sets, they only produce circulation coins, and a tiny selection of token/medals.
anyway the coin sets were 50BHT so that is like $2.00 in Oz and for that price it easer to get them at the mint than try to noodle a set :whistle2:

They always 'bring the store' when the ANA is held in Chicago.  I look forward to seeing them.
