Announcement -New Forum Wiki

This is a new area of the forum for us to create our own wiki of coins.
The Australian Coin Wiki.

It is our plan that this wiki be a public area of this site that forms a permanent information reference concerning Australian Coins (and to a lesser extent world coins).  The content will be generated by our members (and based on consultation with PPH we'll use some of the blog content).  Anyone who wants to contribute can do so.  All content will be approved and published by a team of editors.  If you're interested in becoming an editor please see this thread: http://www.australian-coins.net/showthread.php?tid=1838

Cool. I started adding a lot of stuff to Wikipedia years ago, but kind of ran out of steam. This might get me motivated again.

You might start by copying over the aussie coin pages from there, such as this one:

Ok, so this thread got me a little motivated again. I had a look at

and feeling it was a bit (well, a lot) US-centric, decided to add a section of Aussie varieties. Just a handful, and all decimals. Perhaps some of you predecimal collectors would like to add in some more goodies? Just use the edit link below and follow the same style as that and the following US sections.
