Some huge cracks there Nancy.
I was browsing my coin pics earlier and noticed this one.
Makes the 1 look fat.

just sorting more bloody coins and found these and don't know if they're pmd or an error but here's some pic's of the funny rims

here you can see the same effect on the top two coins with the wide rim and normal rim on bottom two

I don't think they're errors and although I'm sure I've seen edges like that on coins, and I have quite a few Malaysia, none of them have edges like that. It's a bit puzzling. :scratch_one-s_head:

yeah I can't work out if it's an error or PMD but I'll keep them anyway, unless you'd like one :winkextra:

Whatever it is, it seems to be peculiar to just the 50 Sen coins, but I still can't find any with that type of edge.  Seriously, don't go giving them away, they might be really rare errors, who knows?

I've looked at 50 Sen Malaysian coins on a few sites, but none have that edging.

Maybe put some piccies up in World Coins on CCF and see what responses you get.

Here are a couple GB 3d's with some problems.

1920:    Obv - Odd lump behind the top of Geo V's head.
Rev - I examined the reverse to make sure it wasn't a PMD hit that caused the obv lump, that's when I
realised there were also a couple Die Cracks on the rev.

Undecided about the Obv lump though, and I think I can see a smaller similar lump in front of Geo V's forehead and nose,
but maybe that's just my imagination.

Great Britain 3d 1920 Obv Lump Rev D.Cks Trio

Great Britain 3d 1920 Obv Metal + D.Cks both sides Multi

1921: Obv - Rough metal on Geo V's cheek.
Rev – Lam through centre

Great Britain 3d 1921 Obv Cheek Metal Rev Lam Duo

Here's a couple from a seller who seems to have a number of Indian errors.  These were two of the more interesting ones that were still affordable ($25 each).  Perhaps we over-paid because Indian errors are very common but what the heck, they are cool.

First is an undated 50% off center 25 Paise.  I think that's part of a rhino.

The second is a pretty neat double error.  It was struck about 40% off center against a blank planchet.  So I guess it's a off center / indent double error.
