Received in change

Coiny Chris · June 14, 2014, 06:25:41 AM

Hello,

Yesterday at lunch, my Workmate got 2 purple $2 Dollar coins in change. Some time ago he got a red Poppy $2. When I mentioned it was a special one, it rekindled his interest. After his luck yesterday, I then came up with an excuse to get some more $2 Coins and got one. We cleaned out their change drawer though !

Regards Chris

Cool find Pedro. Not an easy one to come by.

A bit battered but these are still out and about.
I found this in my change at Mount Magnet the other day

Mrs. Robster just arrived home with one.! Looks to have a 'step down' in the centre of the first 'E' in Elizabeth. Your pic shows something similar.

Great work Pedro ...... very elusive critters!

Yes, very tricky little blighters Uni. Found a couple of others in change hauls from other family members but the first one I've come across myself.

Also picked up a nice 1973 50c (probably EF or perhaps a little better) a few days ago as well.

Hello,

I just got a very nice NT 50 Cent in my change. I am keeping it alone, as its condition is far better than the sets I have.

I was lucky enough today to bring home a Norfolk Island and South Australia 20cent COF.
And yesterday 2 x Tasmania 50cent COF.

I bought a paper this morning and there was a 2010 rabbit ears $1 in the change.
A few minutes later and a purchase of 2 litres of milk netted a Tasmania 50¢.

Looks like I have found the solution to my inability to find purple or green $2s in my change - my son gave me a green $2 at dinner Friday week ago, my daughter produced another from her change yesterday and my brother tells me he has a purple one with my name on it waiting for me.

From now on I'm outsourcing.
