I picked up my usual petty cash coins from the bank just $200 and in $2 pieces.
They serve them up in plastic bags with 25 per bag.
I was amazed to find one bag all 25 coins had colored centers.
The dates ranged from 2015 to 2020, and all were close to mint state!
Usually 1 in 100 or so has color.
I'm guessing someone must have finally woken up to the fact that most $2 color shirt buttons are worth $1.99 and dumped their collection!
I looked in the Renniks coin catalog  and there are thousands of the buggers, page after page of CLT and NCLT.
I'm wondering, do people actually collect these things?

Mainly the speculators Fred. Pushes the actual collectors out of the game, unless you can get them at face value from the bank.
Still, a bag full from the bank is a good pick up. If you could be bothered you might get double on eBag. Maybe more.

The new Remembrance wreath style.
I went back to Woolies today and did some more shopping and no others so maybe just a loose one.
I haven't seen bags for sale on eBay yet, and that is the usual way to know they are in circulation.
