I locked the other thread on the purple $2 coin because it got out of hand.  This thread seems to be little more than a re-hash of that one and based on the last couple of pages is degenerating in exactly the same manner.  I have no desire to read back and find out who is to blame.  Please keep yourselves under control or I will lock this thread and ALL other new threads about the purple $2 coin.  If I do end up locking this thread and the OP insists on starting a new one then I will BAN him.  Do not PM me about this SULLA.

To my point of view this and the last 2 threads have had very little to do with the actual coin.
The ephesis has been on how to make a quid out of it :dash1:
I am sorry if I am wrong but I am under the impression that this site is ALL about collecting and not about investing in coins :ok:
I imagine that in 12 months time we will look back at this thread and think to ourselves " What the hell was that all about ".
It IS an interesting coin but NOT that interesting.
IMHO this coin has been discussed to death and is becoming a waste of bandwidth :ok:
