I'm really lost now as to what is the rare one..is it the pointy or blunt "A" and another one is the wide date on the 94 50 cent..what one's are the rare one's that I should keep :scratch_one-s_head:

AJ, pretty sure it's the 2004 20c Pointy A and the 1994 Wide Date 50c that are the keepers.

lacey

I agree with Unicorn AJ.

They are the coins I have kept

I think I also saw someone on ebay selling 2 different 50c coins from 2004.  one pointy and 1 flat

ausjack

Thank you, they're the one's I've been keeping

2004 Pointy A 20c are the lower mintage and uncommon in circulation
1994 50c Wide or Narrow date in circulation both are common

How do you figure THAT? :dodgy:
Wide dates are much rarer.

The flat top 2004 fifty and twenty cents are the rare ones in UNC. Their mintages are significantly higher, but because they were only issued in circulation, it is unlikely many of them have survived the last nine years in UNC. Meanwhile, every 2004 mint set appears to contain a pointy A fifty and twenty cent, meaning there are thousands of the pointies in Gem UNC. They are not rare at all.

I definately agree with Fulvio on that one.

Well, yeah, but being one of those who would never bust up a set, its a moot point to me at least. Slightly more likely is that one day I'll get the urge to bust open my UNC rolls, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that one either... :dodgy:

Not sure where the 94 is discussed in detail runway (I can see Mint sets and PNCs).

Perhaps you might post the link to it here.

My latest Renniks has the wide date 94 at double the value of the narrow, hence the wide date variety still gets the rarer flag from me.
