1964 Half Penny

Hi guys n gals, decided to go through some of my pops pennies seeing as though it's been a long time coming. Only searched through one bag so far til next time I go over there.

This was the nicest half penny that I found today.. Actually the nicest half penny that I have noodled in a while..
When I remember I will take a photo of the gorgeous rainbow colours it's showing but for now the scans still show a nice coin..

I think there would be something a little wrong with someone who didn't find that coin beautiful. The late half pennies may not be the scarcest coins in high grades but they sure are a delight.

looks to me like it's got
pink yellow or golds green
on a brown coin

No worries mate, you send me your nicest looking coin while you're at it haha.. I don't have many nice looking ones so this is in the top 3

it was the beautiful little coins like yours, that got me into collecting the colours
they are just devine
very pretty coin
looks more pink than a brown - am I right?

no don't think so
the background colours can be what is called brown
but you need a good photo to tell if it the usual brown or if it's say pink
the photo is good but it still isn't quite clear enough for me to tell the difference

I just wanted to see if I was picking the colours right from the scan or that photo

ps I don't usually drink
