Welcome Thread in Public Forum

[markn]

We need someone to write a "welcome to forum visitors" thread in the public announcements forum.  The thread should talk about how awesome the forum is, how awesome the members are, how awesome joining the forum would be, and how awesome I am.  You could probably skip that last one but you get the idea.  I am volunteering not to do it and am pointing my electronic finger at one of you to do it.

Any volunteers?

Mark didn't know but I sort of started something about a week ago. It's just a rambling draft but anyone can take this/use it/add to it if you like.

" Welcome to the Australian Coin Forum

We're a friendly bunch with at least one thing in common -we all love our coins. Oh and some of us love banknotes and exonumia and all sorts of collecting.

Our forum is generally a place for Aussies to chat about Aussie coins but we welcome anyone from anywhere in the globe to chat or enlighten us about coins or numismatics from their regions. In the public forum here you just get a snippet of the real offerings of our members. Come and join us!"

PS Markn is awesome.
Oi I didn't type that last bit, get out of my post Markn.

Bumping this thread as we need some welcoming and inviting input for potential new members.
