Just cruising through the 20 cents as I do and my eye caught the little hump on the 2. I really need to get myself a decent magnifier soon. I'm pretty sure this is just damage.

Everyone agree?

I bet your heart skipped a beat, but sadly no.  :cray:  :cray:

This is the same area from one of my wavey’s.  See how the wave is mirrored in the water swirl immediately above the wave in the base of the 2, and also how the stem of the 2 gets quite narrow at the bottom.

Yeah Matt I think so as the wave/ripple on top of the damage doesn't have a wave in it..so I'd say damage from being hit sorry mate :(

thanks Nevol :good: that's what we're lookin for mate :)

I ASSumed it was 1966, otherwise his heart would not have jumped.  Hope I didn't make an ASS of U and ME. :winkextra:

Cheers for the replies, I can't wait til I actually come across one. Anyone else see the roll of 1966 20 cent coins sell the other day? I think it went for just over $400, I thought it it would have sold for more.

Wouldn't that be nice, a brand spanka wavey "66".......

Is that possible with RAM rolls? Dont they only contain canberra mint coins and therefore you wouldnt find a wavey london mint coin. I might be wrong id love someone to correct me if i am.
