If you're bored on a Sunday afternoon, here's some fun I had over the Christmas break

That actually looked like a big job in the end. But all's well that ends well.

The hot air gun on PVC pipe is a handy trick. I have used that for making bends to suit a situation (bending spring handy if more than about 30º) and shaping the end for a crevice nozzle for the vacuum cleaner.
Even used it to flare an end to join lenghts when I didn't have any pieces with the socket end still on.

Make sure you wear good working gloves; if it's hot enough to be malleable it is hot enough to burn your fingers!

Now................call by my place sometime and I have a job for you to avoid Sunday afternoon boredom.
Circuit to a shed trips the earth leakage breaker. Disconnected the sub-board at the shed and still does it so it is somewhere in the cable that goes from house switchboard, down inside a wall, under 2.4m of concrete slab and a paved path, about 10m underground, under a brick fence then up through the shed slab inside.

I will supply any cable, conduit and have plenty of cold "refreshments" on hand. Are you interested?
No! Didn't think you would be.

At present my rainwater pressure pump is operaing from a temporary extension lead.
I am thinking it may be easier to just disconnect it and run a new circuit by a more accessible route.

Hilux story continues;
After installing different seats I went looking for a centre console to suit but could only find 4WD version -will fit but wrong gear lever setup. I found an old Falcon one, looked good but just a fraction too wide.
So, what to do? Think outside the square required. I bought a couple of cheap, stackable boxes from Bunnings*, screwed them end to end. Also bought a half size version to knock apart to give me matching material for some customising.
Boxsweden Bamboo Storage Basket

I have been told that drink holders are de rigueur so, why not? The phone holder clips are some old kitchen cupboard shelf holders!
*Many other places sell the same range of stackable boxes but at several times the Bunnings price!

You never cease to amaze me Jeff. (If that's any console ... ation) :tease:

Nearly finished my mowing today but had to call a premature halt.......

So that will be two idler pulleys (other one is RS too and not possible to easily replace just bearing -two piece, spot welded after bearing inserted.), spindle bearings (not good) and drive belt (looks usable but not for too long). There is always something demanding attention and money. :shok:

Looks like you lost your bearings. :)
