Ooh, Umberto Eco; hasn't he done some great stuff.
Thinking is dangerous, it makes you think. That\'s why many people avoid it.

Edit ..... that was meant to say lick your finger, but I guess we all knew that eh!

:scratch_one-s_head: Some code talk going on here but thanks for your support Gents  and no uni, I'm definitely not licking my finger, there are some pages missing so it's fair to say we all know why there's a nail hole at top centre of mag. :stinker::laugh2::laugh2:

:laugh2: .... Nah Auto, no code, just the usual sidetracked comments.

The "Name Of The Rose" was a movie based on a novel by Umberto Eco.

It starred Sean Connery as a Friar who was sent to discover why monks keep ending up dead in a 1300's Italian monastery.

Spoiler alert:

It ended up that one of the "keepers of the ancient texts" poisoned the corners of the pages, thus when monks licked their fingers ...... bye bye monk.

Thanks for that uni :good: hadn't seen the movie or read the book. Actually, the only thing I read besides CAB is the newspaper, no wonder my head's a mess  :laugh2:

oh? was that more the west end part of the city back then????? hummm???
Brissie's inner city was laid out a bit like a graph. All the streets are basically named after Royalty and the feminine all run parallel to each other, with the masculine ones also parallel to each other, but at 180° to the feminine.

Back then, there were not many shops in Elizabeth St.
