These days an increasing portion of the mail deliveries are packages for stuff purchased over the internet. Ebay, Amazon, Gumtree, Alibaba and direct from supplier purchases.
Bills, monthly statements, personal letters, letters of demand and other purely word based mail is going the way of the dodo and only physical objects will be sent via snail mail.

I heard, on the news last night, that Auspost are looking to increase the standard letter rate to $1. That's a large jump from the current 70c.

Hello,

I have 2 items that seem to be lost. Both were sent AP with Sig required. So the seller's claimed. Neither has replied to my request for a tracking number. One is an Anda member, they are no better than any other crook IMO. Why buy from someone who is supposedly a reputable seller when they are not. Burnt twice, neither has gotten back to me. Anda Members, cheap and dodgy is still cheaper for bad service and lies.

How long ago were they sent and did they have to go interstate?
Sometimes it can take 10-14 days for me to get a parcel here in WA even from Vic or NSW.
I normally put the tracking number on the listing as soon as I send it.
A couple of times lately tho the lazy buggers at the post office didn't scan the parcels in and they didn't show up on tracking until they got to the receiving post office :dash1:

Hello,

I made the orders over a week ago, from Sydney and from Melbourne to Canberra. I have checked at the PO in case they ran out of cards / didnt leave / couldnt be bothered trying to deliver. At one stage I had more than a dozen item with no card left. My local PO and Postie are good, a parcel goes to the contract delivery people though. The PO looked everywhere, even though I had no Card.

Give it a couple of weeks at least before panicking Mate , It IS Christmas after all and the Mail rooms will be Chokka with parcels and gifts etc.
Crikey I don't even bother checking the tracking number for at least a week here
It IS disappointing and frustrating  when the seller doesn't bother to give you the tracking number tho.:dodgy:
