The last time I saw one of these I was only 16 (43 years ago) working on Johnny Alchins cray boat, He and Max Cramer were the original divers on the Batavia wreak.
They brought these coins up in large lumps and I was privileged to look at these.
I was pretty stoked to find it amongst all the jars and tins (now in the bin) of coins in my brother in laws collection and wanted to share

I have put all his "Collectable" coins in saflips and have heat sealed them for him, Mainly as a "Thank You" for letting me look through the collection and also to protect them from any further damage.
Looking through that collection was one of my best Christmas gifts for a long time :dance2:
