Entry level dump that I could afford.

Very nice to have. Now aim high for the big one!!

I wish, but out of my price range.

I'm now interested in getting some proclamation coins that I can afford to go with it.
First step- Andrews book and info provided by members here

Have a look at the PCGS set registry for proclamation coins, give u something concrete to aim for......

The example used by Yourself and Fred in the CAB article must just about be the best known? :drooling:

which I recently got slabbed  http://www.pcgs.com/Cert/30435133.html

These seem so hard to get in higher grades. I notice there's one with part centre diamond in the Universal coin co auction, and estimated at $2000.

Just to keep it on topic, I'm putting most of my coveting on hold for the moment, on the prowl for a gold Mohur.
As we age we lose three things, one is our memory and arrrrr I've forgotten the other two!

VF20, egad Stevo, you usually have so many nice wins to make me jealous, not that bottom of the pops coin. Also looks like another of their trainees took the (cropped) images.
Mind you, even a VF20 is still a pricey penny.
Edit to add, I doubt if even the best of mine will get past 30, they are just darn hard to find with even 6 pearls. I did see the listing for the Universal Coin, 2 grand is pretty steep for VF35.

Just did it for the registry set and expected that grade so no surprises
It\'s not about who you know it\'s about what you know
