Thanks to Mark for having ACF going on for so many years. It would be sad if ACF goes silent. However, this is simply a sign of the times.
I will not join facebook. I just hate Meta and its ''children.'' It's bad enough that I had to join WhatsApp for work reasons. I even bought a second smartphone so that I do not have to use my (now) primary phone. Main reason and concern: privacy.
Anyway, the Castle is and would be a good place for those of us who still like forums -- if ACF stops.

I stay way from grades notes (= I do not buy them) although I can understand why many collectors like them, especially with older and old notes. But I am not one of those collectors.

In my eyes, removing notes from graded folders is a financial decision. Can you afford to lose money on removing notes from the graded folders (the price for grading is a part of the selling price)? If you can and if the notes are not too special I would seriously consider freeing them from the plastic coffins.

While I like the obverse I must say that the reverse is -- hmmmmm -- underwhelming.

Secondly, the obverse reminds me of the new banknote series from Curacao/St. Maarten which was also designed and produced by Crane.

The ''specimen'' notes have a markup. The regular notes merely five Fiji dollars. Considering you will (hopefully) get uncirculated banknotes not bad, in my opinion.

Most (but not all) modern polymer banknotes look like play money.
I vividly remember when we got the Euro banknotes in 2002. Most folks said: Looks like Monopoly (=play) money.
