I have not done much noodling for a while, but got a few rolls of coins recently to do a little noodling.  
Found a couple of coloured $2 coins which was nice.

I had triple strombergs on a Holden 202 years ago.

Everyone always said "Arent they hard to tune?" and "Dont they always go out of tune?", but it was pretty straightforward to get right and they worked well without going wrong.

Just had to adjust the idle screws and the linkages to make sure the same airflow was going through each carby at idle and with a few revs and they were fine.

I got a little tool to do the measuring of the airflow and figured it out from there.

I agree with Unicorn.
Any real mistake in production would have a bunch of coins made, not just a one off.

I saw a police interview on youtube about this.
The person selling them was a collector and bought them for $1.50 each and as they were stolen, the police have taken them.
They also said that they think a large amount of the stolen coins have been put into circulation.

2 part epoxy (eg araldite) can do wonders on radiator leaks too.
Did a "patch up" on a car a long time ago and the radiator ended up lasting quite a few years until the car was disposed of.

The FG series of falcon is an excellent car.
I have a G6E turbo and am very happy with it.
The ZF 6 speed gearbox is the best auto I have ever used.
I have added an external gearbox cooler to mine to avoid the possibility of the "ZF milkshake" as well as a filter for the turbo oil feed.
I hope you are very happy with your new car.

It could be that there are not many of the 50c or $1 made,  or maybe they are just not released yet?
I think there must have been a big drop in the usage of coins, so maybe they have made less, or just not released them yet?
