pps .. Are there people seriously interested in this coin?
The questions show a number of people wanting to view the coin. Even someone asking about shipping to Brunei ?

I was having a little sneaky look at the bidders and several have 'bid retractions' in their micro profile information

seems a few of the bidders have bid retraction history = shill bidding auction - in my books

It's a proof and it looks like a London obverse too.

Mister T:   Are you really stating that the above is a Proof 1930 Penny or are you joking?

If it was a fair dinkum Proof 1930 Penny, it would be worth almost $1,000,000.00.

Definitely not a Proof or even real , I think MrT was just being a little sarcastic.

Nevol

If that's a 1930 penny, I''l eat my hat.  The date looks like 193G.

There must be an idiot factory somewhere churning these people out...

Assume for a moment it were real (clearly its not). In that condition, even with the verdigris, it would have to be worth at least 30 grand.. ten times the buy it now price.

That alone should be enough to warn ANY potential bidder off, surely?
